The forerunner of LOTUXS LASER LIMITED, then operating as DARMOPTIK GMBH, was founded in Dusseldorf, Germany. Its early work centered on building medical-grade equipment for professional clinics. In parallel, the firm started researching and designing its first-generation home-use 810nm laser hair removal device, beginning LOTUXS's mission to serve both clinical and consumer markets.
Created by Dr. Yang Lin, LOTUXS LASER LIMITED was set up to focus on manufacturing advanced beauty equipment, opening a new chapter in the beauty technology sector.
The release of the 810nm laser hair removal device was a landmark moment, becoming just one of two such products worldwide and the very first in China to earn U.S. FDA clearance for home-use OCT laser hair removal.
In 2018, SILKPRO, a LOTUXS sub-brand, was recognized as one of the ten most innovative brands in the Asian beauty technology industry, a distinction that highlights the brand's drive for innovation and excellence.
In April 2020, LOTUXS was given an honorary mention in the iF Product Design Award, ranked among the world's three leading design honors.
We were privileged to manufacture the groundbreaking full-body red and near-infrared light therapy bed chosen by none other than the Kardashian-Jenner family's Kylie Jenner for her post-workout recovery back in 2022.
The globally respected medical technology publication MedTech Outlook published its ranking of the ten leading medical aesthetic technology companies across the Asia-Pacific region, with LOTUXS LASER LIMITED proudly named on the list.
The second-generation home hair removal device, built around a large-diameter 810nm laser for stronger hair removal results, arrived in 2023. At the same time, the multi-functional laser beauty device, powered by a 1064nm laser, was released to offer all-around beauty treatments at home.
LOTUXS brought the DermRays website online, kicking off direct-to-consumer sales of its own products.
